Alabama A&M remains undefeated in tournament play after beating Grambling State 3-2, Saturday morning on the campus of Prairie View A&M. Alabama A&M led two games to one but ultimately needed the tie breaking fifth set to secure the victory. The scores were 21-30, 30-24, 30-28, 30-28 and 15-13.

Brittani Lewis led her team with 22 kills, two solo blocks and two assisted blocks. CAssidy Brazelton finished the morning with a total of 14 kills and two assisted blocks.

Alabama A&M will take on the winner of Prairie View and Grambling at 1:30 p.m. The Bulldogs will then have two chances to pick up the win to secure the SWAC Championship title. If crowned the winner, Alabama A&M will have an automatic bid to the 2007 NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament.
