In a rematch of last years SWAC Championship final, the Lady Bulldogs met the Lady Panthers of Prairie View in AAMU's first match of the SWAC Round Robin. For the Lady Panthers, the day would prove to be sweet revenge as they pulled off a 7-0 win against the defending champions.

The day started with a sluggish performance in doubles for AAMU as PVAM was able to secure the doubles point with wins at #'s 2 and 3 doubles.

While the Ladies of A&M fought to get in gear (three of the six singles matches had to go three sets to be decided), this was not to be their day and the Ladies of PVAM walked away with the win.

On Saturday, the Ladies of A&M will face Southern at 8 a.m., followed by Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 1 p.m.
