Alabama A&M gave Auburn all it could handle for most of the afternoon Tuesday, but in the end, it was the Tigers that left Bulldog Field with a doubleheader sweep in the home opening games for Alabama A&M. Auburn completed shutouts in each game, 4-0 and 6-0. Debra Borcherding kept the Bulldogs within reach on the mound in game one, as did Kristine Miles in game two, but the A&M offense could not capitalize on opportunities throughout the two game set.
