Roger Totten moves to Alabama A&M in 2007 after four seasons as the offensive coordinator under his brother and head coach Willie Totten at Mississippi Valley State. He will coach the wide receivers corps for the Bulldogs. Totten engineered one of the most high-powered offenses in the SWAC for the Delta Devils, but his experience in the conference is not just limited to Itta Bena, Miss. Before moving to MVSU, Totten served as the offensive coordinator at Arkansas-Pine Bluff from 1999-2003. He also served in a similar capacity at Alcorn State for two seasons prior to coming to UAPB. Finally, from 1992-1995 he was the quarterbacks and receivers coach at Alabama State. Totten earned his undergraduate degree from Mississippi Valley State in 1987 and holds two Master's degrees, the first in sports administration from Grambling in 1992, and the second in secondary education and supervision from Alcorn State in 1999. He and his wife, Willitte, have three children, a daughter, Ranashia, and two sons, Shon and Roger, Jr. |
