Former J.O. Johnson High School and Auburn University standout Andy Fuller returns to Alabama A&M in 2007 after a successful seven-year (2000-06) playing career as an offensive and defensive lineman with Huntsville's own Tennessee Valley Vipers of the Arena Football League 2 Fuller won a regional championship with the Vipers in 2000.. Fuller served as Alabama A&M's fullbacks coach as a graduate assistant in 1998 and 1999. He will coach the tight ends for the Bulldogs in the 2007 season. A member of the 1993 Auburn Tiger football team that finished the season 11-0, Fuller was named all-Southeastern Conference (SEC) in 1993, 1994, and 1995. He also earned Top Tiger academic accolades while in college. After a senior season at Auburn where he was named Shug Jordan Outstanding Senior, Fuller played tight end and won a World League of American Football (WAFL) title with Barcelona, Spain in 1997. He also won a regional title in 1999 inaugural season for the Regional Football League and the Mobile Admirals. While at Auburn, Fuller was involved in many community service projects with the football team. From the SEC Good Works Team, to being featured in a United Way commercial, to working as a volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club, Fuller has always found it easy to give back to his community. Fuller holds a Bachelor's degree from Auburn in business management. He and his wife, Cynarra, have one daughter, Ashai. |
